We can arrange for champagne, flowers, birthday or anniversary cards and cakes to be delivered to your cottage. Or we can have groceries purchased and stored in your cottage for your arrival.

Also included is the use of the private indoor heated swimming pool, sauna and Jacuzzi which are open all year round. Please bring your own pool towels and cot bedding.

Check-in & Check-out times
Our continued aim is to keep the holiday cottages up to a high standard of gleaming cleanliness. That is why we ask guests to leave promptly at 10 a.m. on their day of departure, and to arrive no earlier than 4 p.m. It takes us a good six hours to clean the holiday cottages so that they are immaculate enough for our guests.

Laundry/Library Room
A separate laundry room with automatic washing machines and tumble drier is provided for our guests. This room also hosts the Library, which contains DVDs, CDs, games and books for our guests to borrow, together with extensive information on the local area, attractions and events. Payphone.

Garden facilities
There are many places to sit and relax in our gardens, including the summerhouse. We also have BBQs, racquet games and croquet sets available for our guests use.

Short Breaks
The cottages are open all year, which enables you to experience the first green leaves of Spring to the spectacular Autumn tints, from the vivid purple of the moorland heather to the dazzling golden daffodils. We specialise in Short Breaks between October and April and these can start on any day of the week. This provides a great opportunity to relax and experience the beautiful countryside in all its splendour.

Group Bookings
Having nine cottages, we are able to accommodate up to 45 guests and this makes us ideal for Group Bookings of families and friends. All the cottages are conveniently located within close proximity of each other and the leisure facilities.

Children/Babies
Children are welcome at any age. Situated at the end of a private drive the grounds are an extremely safe place for the children to play and enjoy the Teddy Bears Cottage and adventure playground.
Cots, high chairs and safety stair gates (where necessary) are all available, free of charge (please bring your own cot linen).
We can arrange reliable mature baby-sitters to allow you the freedom of a relaxing night out – please book in advance.

Parking
Ample parking with security lighting is available adjacent to the cottages.

Tourist Information
Tourist information brochures, leaflets and guide books are provided in every holiday cottage as well as in the Library. Each holiday cottage has an information pack with instructions for all machines, information on local shops, pubs, restaurants and recreation providers, as well as the addresses of local doctors, dentists and hospitals.

Local village facilities
The local village of Scalby has 2 pubs, a café and 2 general stores (open from 8 until 6pm most days), a church and many interesting buildings.

Shopping
As well as the 2 shops in the village we have Proudfoots (a local superstore), located within a 5 minutes drive. Also in Scarborough we have further supermarkets at Morrisons, Tesco and Sainsbury. Many visitors take advantage of Tesco’s Home Delivery to our cottages.
