Booking Terms & Conditions

1. You can make a booking by post, telephone, email or using our online booking system. All bookings taken without a deposit payment are provisional for up to 5 working days pending receipt of payment. The deposit payment is one-third of the total cost. The balance is payable 60 days before the holiday commences. Bookings made within 60 days of the arrival date should be accompanied by the total amount.

2. If you are forced to cancel your booking, please telephone immediately and confirm your cancellation in writing. Every effort will be made to re-let the property in which case you will receive a refund, less an administration charge. If the property is not re-let you will be held liable to pay the full balance due on the property you have booked.
You are strongly advised to take out a Holiday Cancellation Insurance Policy to cover this eventuality.

3. Wrea Head Country Cottages reserve the right to cancel or alter the booking arrangements. In the event of cancellation, Wrea Head Country Cottages shall only be liable for the return of the monies received.

4. Accommodation will be available to you from 4pm on the start date of the booking.

5. Accommodation must be vacated by 10am – this is to allow for cleaning and maintenance to take place. Wrea Head Country Cottages will provide accommodation to a high level of cleanliness and, whilst accepting that all cottages will be cleaned between “lets”, we expect that they are left in a clean and tidy condition. A cleaning charge may be levied if extra cleaning is required.

6. The owner is not liable to the Guest, or members of the Guest's party, for loss or damage to any of their belongings or those of their visitors. Nor is the Owner responsible for acts of negligence or wilful damage caused to the Guest or members of the Guest's party by any other person. In the event of guest misbehaviour or other necessary cause, the Owner reserves the right to terminate the let without any refund of letting monies.

7. Wrea Head Country Cottages regret that they do not accept pets.

8. There is a No Smoking policy in all of the cottages.

9. Guests are responsible for the condition of the property and furniture therein. Any problem with any appliance or fixture or fitting must be reported to the owners who will ensure that, within a reasonable time, this is repaired or alternative arrangements are made.

10. The number of occupants in the property must not exceed the number stated on the booking form. Wrea Head Country Cottages reserve the right to refuse entry to the entire party if this condition is not observed.

11. The Guest's right to occupy the property is limited to a right of occupation for holiday purposes and such right shall terminate at 10am on the scheduled date of the completion of the holiday.

12. The owner or his representative reserves the right to enter any property at a reasonable time for the purpose of emergency maintenance or repair or any other need.
